Marketing services for trades and local service businesses
The aim is to be found on Google, to give that visit a clear way to become a call or a form, and to keep the follow-up moving. LeadForge Marketing builds that as one system for UK trades and local service businesses.

Search, then the enquiry
Most of the work we do sits in three places: local SEO, which includes Google Business Profile management, Google Ads, and websites and landing pages. Local SEO is the work aimed at being visible when someone nearby searches for the job you do. Google Ads is the work aimed at that same visibility while the longer work is still getting going. The website is built to turn that visit into a call or a quote request, and the follow-up, already described on the homepage, is what happens after the enquiry.
You can read each service on its own page, then book a call if you want us to look at your area before you decide.
Local SEO
Map pack visibility for trades, including Google Business Profile management: categories, photos, posts, review replies, service pages, citations and geo-grid tracking. For businesses that want to be found when someone searches nearby.
Google Ads
Search campaigns aimed at calls and quote requests, with tight local targeting. There is a short section on Local Services Ads for trades that may be eligible. Google Ads can start bringing local enquiries within the first week. SEO takes longer.
Websites and landing pages
High-converting websites and landing pages for trades: fast, mobile-first pages with click-to-call, a short quote form, and enquiries passed into follow-up.
Which mix do I need?
A simple way to think about it. We still check the detail on the call, because the right mix depends on your area and your competitors.
- The phone needs to ring this month. Start with Google Ads, and make sure the profile and the page people land on are fit to take the call.
- You are hard to find on Google Maps. Start with local SEO. Google Business Profile management is part of that work. The map pack is mostly the profile, the reviews and the relevance of the site.
- The page people land on is hard to use. Look at websites and landing pages. The aim is a fast, mobile-first page with one clear action, so local SEO or Google Ads has somewhere solid to send people.
- Enquiries come in, then go quiet. The search work still matters, and so does what happens next. The homepage explains the pipeline: an alert straight away, then automatic email and text follow-up. We will map that out with you on the call.
Who it is for, and where
We work with local service businesses that want more calls and enquiries from nearby customers. That includes trades and contractors, and also photographers, home services, health and wellness, automotive and professional services. If customers pick you because you are close, this is the work.
LeadForge Marketing is based in Stockton-on-Tees. We work with businesses across the UK, and we also work with local service businesses in the US, Canada and Ireland. We have worked with hundreds of local service businesses, from trades and contractors to professional services and healthcare.
What we can show you
The reviews page publishes 48 five-star Google reviews, quoted word for word. Crewkerne Services wrote that Simon sorted their Google listing and helped with their SEO. Read them in full on the reviews page.
The homepage also shows a before-and-after geo grid: a map of pins for the same area, before and after the work. Red and orange are weaker positions. Green pins are stronger ones. It is one example of how we look at local visibility, street by street.
Questions we get asked
Do I need all of these services?
No. Some businesses start with local SEO, which includes the Google Business Profile. Others need Google Ads because they want to be in front of people who are searching now. Some need a website or landing page that can take the call. On the discovery call we recommend the mix that fits how people already search for you. You do not have to take everything.
How much does it cost?
The right investment depends on which services make sense for your business. A roofer in a busy town and a specialist in a quiet area are not the same job, so we price it on a short call and give you a clear recommendation, with no obligation.
Do you lock me into a contract?
No. We work on simple monthly agreements. You stay because you want to, not because you are locked in. We recommend at least three months so campaigns have time to settle, and there is no penalty for leaving.
Do you work outside Teesside?
Yes. LeadForge Marketing is based in Stockton-on-Tees, and we work with trades and local service businesses across the UK. We also work with local service businesses in the US, Canada and Ireland. The approach is the same. The local research and targeting change.
